You've lost the calm you used to be able to reach, and the peace just won't come. Hold on to this verse. Jesus gives a peace that isn't like the world's flimsy version. It doesn't depend on everything going right. He hands it to you on purpose and then tells your troubled, fearful heart that it doesn't have to stay troubled. The peace is a gift. Receive it.
