The Dark Night
God is weaning, not leaving
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” — Isaiah 43:2 (ASV)

The Dark Night (God is weaning, not leaving)
This dryness might not be a problem to fix at all. Sometimes God goes quiet on purpose, weaning you off the warm feelings so you'll learn to trust Him for who He is, not for the rush. That's not abandonment. It's a deeper invitation. Keep showing up in the dark, even when you feel nothing. Faith that holds on without the feelings is the strongest faith there is.
