You've been pushed out and left in the wilderness, certain no one noticed. But Hagar's story is where God gets one of His most tender names. Out in that empty place, she met the God who sees, and she said it back to Him: You are the God who sees me. That same God sees you, right here, by name. You are not invisible to Him.
