What you're carrying isn't God's conviction. It's shame, and it lies. Conviction says you did something wrong. Shame says you are something wrong, and it leaves you wanting to hide instead of heal. That voice probably got installed by people, not by God. He is not disgusted with you. There is no condemnation for you in Christ, and that is true even on the days you don't feel it.
